A Sharp-shinned Hawk came by with its prey today. I didn't see the catch, so I don't know if it caught the prey in our yard or not, but he proceeded to eat it on top of our trellis.
My bird blind is upstairs in our laundry room. I hung dark material over the window and it's just above the height of the top of our trellis.
I took a few shots for good measure, and then carefully opened the window and shot many more frames as you can see here.
Near the end of his feed, he dropped his last piece and after looking down at it and tilted his head back and forth he flew up into our tree and then off and away. There's a picture of him up in the tree in my "Birds" gallery.
